Gibbs
College will continue to counsel students about financial aid. Currently
enrolled students participating in Title IV will need to complete new FAFSAs
for each award year until they graduate. Gibbs, however, has stopped
accepting FAFSAs for future students.
Gibbs will disburse Title IV to all eligible students through the last day of
class. Upon completion of all disbursements, Gibbs will submit a notice to
the U.S. Department of Education that the campus has closed.
Refund
policies also will continue as outlined in Gibbs' catalogue and handbook.
Students who have enrolled but have not yet started class will receive a
full refund of their application fee and any prepaid tuition. Gibbs is
refunding application fees for all future students.
Academic & Financial Records
Gibbs is
arranging to house and manage student records in a central location, accessible
via the Internet according to State of Connecticut requirements.
Gibbs will send a letter to each student and graduate with one copy of his or
her transcripts/records and instructions for accessing records in the future.
