This simplified search will generate listings of programs (fields of study) at all the colleges, universities, and private occupational schools in Connecticut.

An advanced version of the comprehensive program search which allows for finely tuned searches.

Use this search if you want to know what programs or fields of study are approved for veterans education benefits at a particular College, University, Occupational School, High School, Vocational-Technical School, Hospital, Cosmetology, Adult Education Center or other training School.  Also, use this search if you want to know what schools offer a particular approved program.

The database is compiled from data furnished by the institutions as part of the annual data collection process for the US Department of Education's Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).  Most recent year's data is subject to change.

The Connecticut Department of Higher Education provides a database containing Headcount and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) enrollments for all Connecticut Institutions of Higher Education. By using the search engine, it is possible to produce an Enrollment Report that contains the following information: Institution name, College Type, Total Enrollment for Year, and total for the query. It is possible to select Headcount enrollment or Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) enrollment or both Headcount and FTE for one year, a selection of years, or for all years in the database.

The database is compiled from data furnished by Connecticut institutions as part of the annual DHE/IPEDS data collection process. Most of the data collected is required by the US Department of Education for its Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).

The Headcount enrollment data is furnished by the institutions as part of the data collection process. While the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) enrollment data is based on enrollment and credit hour data furnished by the institution, it is calculated by the Department of Higher Education. Admittedly, such a calculation might differ from the individual institution's own calculation, but it does provide consistency between institutions.

The Connecticut Department of Higher Education provides a database containing Headcount enrollments for all Connecticut Institutions of Higher Education. By using the search engine, it is possible to produce an Enrollment Report that contains the following information: Institution name, Student Classification, Grand Total, Total Men, Total Women, Total Minorities, Total Non-minorities. By checking the detail box, the report will also break down the enrollment by ethnic grouping.

Due to the size of the complete United States Collegiate Enrollments database, only Connecticut institutions are represented in our online database.  If you need multi-state data, please visit the IPEDS website.
