Participate in decisions on policies related to the Commission’s core work. Be familiar with the Federal expectations of Commissions, and the Connecticut enabling statute. Attend and participate in commission meetings. Bring to the attention of CCCS those things of importance that are relevant to the sector you represent. Make a commitment to view information and events in the context of the Commission’s Vision/Mission/Values/Goals. Support CCCS efforts to achieve its mission. Serve as a Program liaison. Advise fellow commissioners and staff by providing information or expertise that helps CCCS' performance. Provide access to resources of all types by facilitating connections that help CCCS succeed. In the context of non-CCCS responsibilities, help the organization accomplish its goals by creating connections beyond core board activities in other communities of interest. |
