Today's Tec, located at 10 Alexander Drive in Wallingford, Connecticut, notified the Connecticut Department of Higher Education on August 18, 2010 of its intention to close. The Department is working with the school to assure an orderly cessation of operations. Private occupational schools are approved by the Commissioner of Higher Education to offer postsecondary training in Connecticut. The Department of Higher Education oversees the compliance of private occupational schools with state statutes.
