Connecticut Higher Education Community Service Awards were presented to award recipients on Tuesday, April 27th at 5:00 p.m. The presentation was held at the Department of Higher Education in Hartford, CT.

2010 Award Recipients

Individual Student category: Jessica Dybdahl from Eastern Connecticut State University and Michael Fazzino, from Sacred Heart University.

Student Group category: Association of Information Technology Professionals - Student Chapter Covenant Soup Kitchen from Eastern Connecticut State University and MATHCOUNTS Outreach from Dwight Hall at Yale University.

Special Award category: Alex Citurs from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Connecticut’s higher education institutions impact communities through service programs implemented and volunteered by students, student groups and educators. 

The Connecticut Commission on Community Service (CCCS) and the Department of Higher Education are proud to honor volunteers at the annual Connecticut Higher Education Community Service Awards.
