Standing Advisory Committee

The Standing Advisory Committee to the Board of Governors is a 22-member group of trustees, administrators, faculty members and students charged by state statute to meet at least twice annually with the Board to discuss a mutually agreed upon agenda. The Committee elects six members to serve on an Executive Committee which may participate in discussions at Board meetings (except for executive sessions) but do not have the right to vote.

The Committee usually meets from 10:00 a.m. to noon on the Thursday preceding the monthly meeting of the Board of Governors at the Department of Higher Education in Hartford.
